Why tactics without strategy create weak link-building results
A lot of backlink work begins in the wrong place.
Teams jump into tactics such as outreach, partnerships, PR campaigns, or paid placements without first deciding what the links are supposed to support. That turns link building into activity without direction. Some links get built, some metrics go up, but the real business question stays unanswered. Which pages needed authority most? Which opportunities were close enough to value to deserve extra support? Which pages were not ready and should have been improved first? Without those answers, link building becomes noisy and hard to evaluate.
